@guitarspeakpodcast : I sent another one back and basically just used the body and neck. Apart what else do you really get for $1300 . It’s a nice guitar now as the techy added a crunch circuit toggle switch. So it’s unique. Purchased another 3 Artist Guitars that where ok. Their couriers are rubbish as they never keep delivery date which is a problem. Good companies go bad. I’ll never deal with them again cheers mate

Hi Axed, Thanks for listening to the podcast and taking the time to comment. It sounds like our experience was very different. There is no way the guitar I played required the work you undertook. I understand upgrading components and sets up are never a bad thing, I like doing that stuff too, although I wouldn’t say that was ’required’ for the AT73 I reviewed. I’m interested in why you spent $775 - if I’m reading your comment correctly - on a brand new $599 guitar with an easy returns policy. What was it about the AT73 that was worth you keeping it, rather than taking your $1,374 to shop around elsewhere? Cheers, Matt

Disagree with you 100% It cost me $400 for a setup, fret level and pot and cap replacement which where rubbish. Then the nut was wrongly cut. The ” hand made’ pickups yeah sure. $275 JJ’s pickups and fitting $100 plays nice now I sent another new model back . Won’t deal with Artist again. Then couriers rock up whenever. Can’t keep date Wo
